A little Lockdown didn’t stop the staff and children at Milton Primary celebrating World Book Day. The children (and staff) were invited to dress as their favourite book character and enjoyed a day taking part in activities to encourage a celebration of reading.

Primary 3/4/5 were tasked with a creativity challenge – turning a potato into a book character. They come complete with labels but I bet you guessed who lots of them were before seeing the label.

It was lovely to see the children at home get involved too. A huge thank you to everyone for sending in some photographs of what they got up to.
