Introducing the first 7 Shining Stars of the new session. Well done boys and girls you have all made a huge impression on your teachers already this term. Keep shining!

Raising Children with Confidence will be launched on Monday 9th September at Milton.
Pop in when you drop off to find out what it’s all about. There will be free tea and toast available. This is a 6 week course being offered to everyone. The contents of the course look really interesting – you can read all about it in the leaflet which will be sent home to you this week. Carol Lowson will be delivering to parents over a 6 week programme. Staff training will take place this term too. Invergordon Academy offered parents a similar course last year which was also delivered by Carol, it was extremely well received!
Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to learn more about child development at this FREE and very relaxed event.
Action for Children are looking to recruit a few more volunteers to help run Milton Food and Fun. If you can help let one of the team know!

Good morning everyone, we will be holding a meet the teacher event at 2.30pm on Thursday.
We look forward to welcoming all of the boys and girls back to school today. A special welcome to our new Primary 1 pupils, parents please join your child in class this morning and be sure to grab those precious first day pictures.
We have a few children off with a sick bug today to we look forward to welcoming them back when they are fit and well.
There will be no after school clubs running this week, a welcome back letter will be sent home with your child today and a termly calendar towards the end of the week.
Please be sure to double check through all lost property today, we had a lot of lovely things left behind at the end of last term.
Many thanks!
The blogs for this year are still a work in progress but hopefully they’ll be up and running soon and everyone can subscribe to their child’s classes as I’m sure all the teachers will he sharing lots of exciting things throughout the year.
Tomorrow is the first day for our P1s and I thought I would share this as there’s probably a few nervous (but excited) kids (and parents) tonight.

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.
Miss Robinson
An emotional end of term yesterday for many! The end of another chapter at Milton as our P7’s said their goodbyes when the bell rang at 12.
Mr McIver, Miss Cross and Mel are all moving on too, as well as Ms Brewer taking on her new job as Numeracy Development Officer. The staff would like to say a huge thank you to all of our pupil and staff leavers. We look forward to watching you continue to grow and learn throughout your next Chapter. Good luck everyone, keep shining like the stars that you are.
It wouldn’t be an end of term without “Milton’s Got Talent”. There were many superb acts including Keigan’s famous “worm”. The staff got in on the act too with some of the children designing a beautiful dress for Miss O’Shea as she prepares for her wedding day. A week today she will become Mrs O’Shea and we would like to wish her all the luck and love in the world for her big day!
Have a lovely summer everyone, stay safe, have fun and enjoy every second of the holidays.

There is no better sight than a playground filled with smiling faces. What a lovely afternoon in Milton. The garden is open and the fairy doors are all ready to be varnished. We are super excited to see how many fairies will move into Milton Woods over the summer.
The garden would not have been possible without the hard work of Ms Brewer and her green fingered team of adults and children along with Alasdair who arranged the building work.
We are very excited to see what phase 2 will bring after the summer holidays. Alasdair has promised to return very soon!
Now the hard work begins of caring for the plants and vegetables. There is no better gift than to be able to grow your own food👌Just amazing! “Grow Veg Grow”.
Well done to the raffle winners! £115 was raised we will be using this to purchase some additional gardening equipment. Thank you all for your support.

They all look so smart and definitely not so little any more!
All set for the next big step up to Invergordon Academy. Looking forward to sharing more special memories from their time at Milton next week. The countdown continues for our 7’s …👌⭐️
A big thank you to the superb audience yesterday at both shows.
Boys and girls – every single song and scene blew us away, you were all superb! A huge well done to every single performer, the hard work paid off! So exciting to see our Primary 1-3 graduates receiving their capes, masks and medals as they graduated from Superhero School. Thank you again to Jonathon, Ines and Amy from Eden Court for supporting us this week.
Please leave a comment on the board next week and let us know what you thought of the performance. It will be by the front door, both school and Eden Court appreciate your feedback.
Following our open afternoon at 1.30pm on Wednesday 3rd July where parents can view Profiles and collect reports there will be a Garden Party. A range of activities have been lined up for the children, we would love you to join us if you can.
Our Primary 7’s were all stars on stage, hard to believe they now have just 21 hours left of their Primary school days.
