We are currently working closelyย with Public Health to ensure everyone is clear and able to follow the correct procedures as advised by NHS & Highland Council.
Norovirus, also called the “winter vomiting bug”, is a stomach bug that causes vomiting and diarrhoea. It can be very unpleasant, but usually goes away in about 2 days.
Norovirus is circulating our school. If your child was sick or had diarrhoea it is important they stay at home for at least 48 hours after the last episode.
We want to ensure we have a healthy school as we move towards the end of term.
We need to work to ensure that we are doing all we can to reduce the risk of spread. Plenty of hand washing is also advised.
We have 2 free ANNUAL passes to all Public Messy-Ness Sessions in 2020 up for grabs in the school Christmas Raffle. These were kindly donated by Messy Ness (Education through Messy Play).
Huge thanks to them for the kind donation.

A huge thank you to our amazing cook Mairi for agreeing to host our first ever family Christmas lunch. There was a lovely buzz in the canteen and it was so nice to have families come together to enjoy their lunch.
A big thank you to everyone who came along today and well done to the mums who made the suggestion! Special thanks to the staff today too – many hands make light work as they say! ๐๐๐๐
No doubt youโll know a young person who has asked for some form of internet-enabled tech for Christmas.
Check out our blog for tips on how youย can make sure that young people are safer online, over the Christmas period and beyond.

The Christmas raffle will be on sale tomorrow during Christmas lunch and each day at the office until the big draw on Friday 20th December. We have a food and drinks hamper up for grabs and various other prizes including: chocolates, wine, body shop set, next room fragrance…
Don’t delay, grab your raffle tickets now. Money will be split towards the playground upgrade pot and the P7 school trip. Good luck everyone!
The Platform in Tain have offered us 3 food hampers.
If you are able to call into the school office and let us know if you would benefit from a food hamper this Christmas please do.
The Platform will deliver hampers to families on Christmas Eve.
Kind regards, Mrs Sinclair
If you have ordered a Christmas Lunch tomorrow please come up to school for 12.30. Mairi has been super busy and you are in for a treat! Feel free to wear tinsel or anything festive you fancy. We need to spread some festive cheer instead of these nasty bugs going around.
On Friday there is chicken bites on the menu instead of roast beef.
We are thinking of the staff, boys and girls off ill-please rest up, take care and feel better soon.
Reminder n
Could all P2-7s take a Christmas Jumper in tomorrow for the show on Thursday. If you don’t have one don’t worry just let us know ASAP ๐
As the cross country runners have been out at a competition this afternoon, there will be no cross country club after school.
Well done to the runners who took part!
