We are currently working closely with Public Health to ensure everyone is clear and able to follow the correct procedures as advised by NHS & Highland Council.
Norovirus, also called the “winter vomiting bug”, is a stomach bug that causes vomiting and diarrhoea. It can be very unpleasant, but usually goes away in about 2 days.
Norovirus is circulating our school. If your child was sick or had diarrhoea it is important they stay at home for at least 48 hours after the last episode.
We want to ensure we have a healthy school as we move towards the end of term.
We need to work to ensure that we are doing all we can to reduce the risk of spread. Plenty of hand washing is also advised.
