Nursery January Update

We have been very quiet on here while we’ve been adjusting to a new way of ‘attending’ nursery. We are delighted to be able to keep in close contact with our children and families at home via Seesaw but we thought it’d be nice to share some of the fantastic learning experiences the children have been taking part in on here too.

The children have been exploring the changing winter season since we’ve returned to Nursery after Christmas. They’ve been looking for signs of winter in the local community, investigating how ice is made, researching places that are very cold and the animals that live there, as well as thinking carefully about the clothes you need to wear in winter time in Scotland. They have also began to explore how we can take care of our environment and show we care about our habitat. There’s more to come from this later in the week!

Please see some photographs below of their fantastic work:

We still have some children attending our setting sometimes too. They have been engaging in very similar learning experiences. Have a look at what they’ve been getting up to below:

We will hopefully be able to give you a weekly update so keep your eyes peeled for more Nursery news!
