Just a little reminder to come along to the school on Thursday afternoon if you are able to join us. The doors will be open from 2.00pm.
Between 2.00pm-2.30pm we invite families in for a tea/coffee in the hall. Collette, our Child Care Manager will be around so you can meet with her and ask any questions you may have about the October Holiday Hub. The Project Manager Mellisa will also be around, she is finalising the programme of events over the next few days. I am very excited about how much is going to be available for the children! We have had several forms returned today, please hand any booking forms/All About Me sheets into the office or feel free to send them in with your child.
There are 24 places, it would be brilliant to have them all booked up before the holidays. Fantastic to see that lunch will be opened up to all family members too – please remember to fill in the dietary requirements box. Lunch is FREE for everyone.
From 2.30pm-3.00pm your child will be ready for you to join them in their class. The teachers will be encouraging you to sit with your child and look through their Profile. This will give a flavour of their learning this term. You will also be asked to chat to them about their profile and complete a very short template which will be added to the Profile. We will send sheets home to those who are unable to make it along so that nobody misses out.
We want to ensure that parents views are recorded and shared because the children love to know what parents think about their learning! Parents are valued partners in the learning process. The teaching staff will be available to chat to you. If there are any specific or personal items you want to talk about please let us know. Individual appointments can be arranged as required .
