And look forward to the coming year.

Happy New Year to all our Milton friends and family.

We look forward to welcoming you all back to school tomorrow morning.

There will be essential staff training happening after school each night this week. Our normal after school clubs will resume from next week (Monday 14th January). Wrap will run as normal if you have already booked on.

Parents please know there is plenty of availability for our wrap service. We are able to offer child care between 8.00-9.00 and 3.00-6.00. Talk to Mrs Nimmons at the office for more information or bookings.

Arrival at Milton

Bus 1 is currently approaching the Tore Roundabout with Bus 2 following shortly after.

I’d estimate a 5.15pm pick up by the time we have the children back in to school to collect their belongings and dismissed from the front door.

Friday 14th Dec

It’s almost Panto Time (Oh no it’s not)!

The children will have an early break and lunch tomorrow.

Lunch will be at 11.15am and the choices will be:

1. Sausage dog roll

2. Sandwich selection

The bus will depart for Eden Court at 12.00pm sharp. I will post on the blog when we leave Inverness but we hope to return to Milton at approximately 5.00pm. Ideally, we’d like all children to be collected from school so we know they have got home safe.

The school will provide all children with a snack for the pantomime interval.

Please ensure your child is wearing their uniform or school colours.

If your child is prone to travel sickness, please ensure you give them their medication. Mrs Nimmons has some travel bands available so please just ask school if your child would like to borrow one.

See you in the morning!

Christmas Unwrapped

Primary 6:7 were delighted to meet baby JJ today whilst they were visiting The Capstone. Calum our school Chaplin introduced everyone to his son Joshua James , he was a very good baby and even waved hello to everyone! The children enjoyed a morning of activities on the theme “Christmas Unwrapped”. They participated in a range of experiences from visiting the stable to meeting a king!

A huge thank you to everyone who organised the event, the children had a very enjoyable morning and loved hearing all about the meaning of Christmas.

“Through investigating the Christian communities in my local area, I am discovering how Christian communities demonstrate their beliefs through prayer, worship and special ceremonies. I am developing respect for the practices and traditions of others.

School Show

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Many thanks to the Parents/Guardians who brought it to our attention that there was a discrepancy with the timing on the afternoon School Show Tickets.

The afternoon show will not begin until 1.30pm as stated on the Termly Calendar. Your ticket may read 1.00pm but I can assure you the performance will not begin until 1.30pm.

Apologies for this error, please spread the word for us.

A huge thank you to everyone for their kind donations to our School Fund and for wearing their pyjamas to school today. What a comfortable Friday we’ve all had!

Mrs Christie
