Celebrating Success

So much success to share and celebrate at assembly this morning.

Our focus at assembly was all about being “Fair”, we talked a lot about what it means at Milton. To talk more about fairness watch the film clip again with your child.

An animated parable adapted from a story by Jason Buckley, explores the age-old question of ‘what’s fair?’.

Team Milton (Weronika, Aaron and Summer) were faced with some fierce competition this morning at the RPSSA badminton competition.

The team played their hearts out and should feel very proud of themselves tonight.

After school badminton resumes on Tuesday with Mr MacIver.

Well done Autumn! 🌈

Autumn did Milton proud on Friday organising her charity event for The Leanne Fund, the organisation that supports families living with Cystic Fibrosis. Mrs Christie popped in to say hello and even baby Blair was sporting the colours of the rainbow (His big cousin Gracie looks very proud!).

£154 was raised, the children looked amazing, such a lovely day supporting an amazing charity.

Well done Autumn for organising the event. 🤩A very special thing to do! We are all very proud of you.

Online Safety Workshop for parents

Dear Parent Carer,

Will you join us and help keep all children safe online?

O2 and the NSPCC have joined forces on a mission to help all children and their families in the UK stay safe online. Together, they’re offering useful tools, support and guidance to help parents and carers have conversations with their children about their online lives.

Online safety workshops for parents

As part of this, they’re running free online safety workshops for parents and carers and will be hosting one at The Mercat Centre at 2.30pm  on 5th February We would like to invite all parents and carers to join.

The hour-long workshop will help parents and carers understand their child’s online world and build confidence to have those important conversations that can help keep children safe online.

Don’t miss out on this great opportunity.

Until then, if you need any support or guidance, check out our website pages and step-by step guides online, call the O2 and NSPCC Online Safety Helpline on 0808 800 5002, or pop into your local O2 store for help from a Guru.

Thank you.
