The Leanne Fund

Autumn you are amazing!

This star suggested doing a fundraiser for The Leanne Fund, the charity that supports her in living with Cystic Fibrosis.

As a school we raised £164 for this amazing charity.

Well done Autumn, it was so much fun thanks to your super organisation skills! The cheque is now safely in the post.

Playground Improvements

Playground Improvement Action plan 2018

Please click on the link to see what the parent/children think we need to do to improve our playground. Through everyone working together we all agree that:

We want our playground to spark imaginations and promote opportunities for children to take risks, problem solve and be creative!

It is hoped that during the Easter break our slabs will be repaired and ready to have our new playground markings put down in Term 4.

We hope to have an area of the playground for “Loose Parts”. We need your help to source as many different items as we can. You will see the man-made items listed below that we are after…

Well done everyone!

Remember to take a minute and reflect on our assembly message today: Every single dream starts with one small step 👍

Assembly on Monday

Mrs Sinclair would like to encourage the boys and girls to sign up for our very first “Show Us Your Talent” assembly which is happening on Monday 11th March.

Pop your name down if you want to share your special talent over the next few weeks at assembly.

Maybe you are a gymnast, a musician, a comedian, an artist, a singer, a dancer…? We want you to share your talents at school. Wider achievements are SO important and these special skills and talents help to shape you into the amazing and unique individuals that you all are!

Wellie Boot Walk

We are looking forward to our whole school wellie walk through the woods tomorrow afternoon. We have wellies for everyone (thanks to the Cromarty Forth Port Authority) but the children may want to wear their own pair if they’d prefer.

Rain is the forecast so PLEASE wear a waterproof with a hood. Bring a brolly too if you have one. Hopefully the rain will make the walk more enjoyable as there will be plenty of puddles around🌂…

Everyone is welcome to bring a small donation for the playground pot.

Please spread the word for us, we look forward to welcoming lots of new faces into Milton Early Learning Centre.

From August we hope to be able to offer 30 hours of FREE childcare!
