Anti-Bullying Week

Tomorrow is the final day of anti-bullying week 11th – 15th Nov.

This years theme is #ChangeStartsWithUs

We can all help reduce bullying and create safer environments for everyone by encouraging children to be kind and respect others.

BANTER OR BULLYING?

Stop and think about the impact of your words, the posts you share and the comments you make.

Laugh with your friends, not at them!

Rotary Quiz Record

Cameron, Michael, Sam and Isabella were amazing representing our school at The Rotary Quiz today. 4th overall and the highest score for the spelling round!!! Very very well done, we are so proud of your achievements. A disappointing day for poor Katie who has been training hard but was struck down with the sick bug this morning. Get well soon-at least all the new knowledge is with you now and will not go to waste!

Go team Milton ⭐️🙌

Tempest Photography

As you are aware tomorrow the children will be having individual photographs taken in school. All siblings (School and Nursery age will have a group photograph taken too). We are aware that some families may like to have the opportunity to have family photograph taken with other siblings (babies/toddlers/older). If you would like the opportunity to have a family photograph please come to the school office at 9.15 where Mrs Nimmons will give you a number. Once you are signed in, make your way to the hall and the photographer will work her way through families first.

Holiday Hub Survey

Hello,

All families will receive a short questionnaire today about the Holiday Hub provision. We would encourage you to complete these and return them to the school office. Mellissa MacDonald is planning future provision and your feedback is key.

Thank you!

Parent Council Meeting

Parent Council Minutes are now available on the Parent Council tab or by clicking here: Parent Council Meeting 04.11.19

Several members were unable to attend due to the change of day. There is a poster in The Mercat that we would like to encourage everyone linked to the school to contribute to. As we move to update our school vision, values and aims it is also important to update our Promoting Positive Behaviour Policy as these two key items go hand in hand. If any parents would like to meet with Mrs Sinclair to share their thoughts/ideas please get in touch. All contributions are valued and appreciated.

There will be a Pupil/Parent Council meeting on Monday 18th November at 2.00pm to discuss our Vision, Values and Aims. All members are encouraged to come along. If you are not a member but want to get involved and come along please get in touch.
