Head to Morrisons in Alness tomorrow to show your support for our awesome Choir. Tell your friends to get along and pop a few pound in their bucket. This will really help reduce the cost of the P7 trip.

Final Countdown…

We really hope that we have higher numbers back at school with us on Monday. The bug has affected so many. Please remember to stay at home for 48 hours after the last episode of vomiting/diarrhoea. It is essential we prevent the spread as much as we possibly can. Keep washing hands regularly with hot, soapy, water.

Monday: We look forward to our trip to Eden Court Cinema. There are a few children not coming with us this year through their own choice. They should attend school as normal, staff will be staying behind to ensure there is provision for all.

All children will receive a snack bag from school for the trip (water, crisps, chocolate) Please ensue your child has a packed lunch if you have not ordered one from the canteen.

We will be back at school around 2.30pm.

Tuesday: We are planning to have a whole school “Run A Festive Mile”. Children are invited to wear tinsel / Santa hats / antlers or anything festive they fancy. Parents / Carers / School Partners are very welcome to join us. Just sign in at the office. We plan to start at 2.30pm.

Wednesday: Party Day. Children will enjoy their Christmas Party during the afternoon, there is a rumour Santa might pop in! Party clothes and dancing shoes are a must!

Thursday: Milton Choir will be performing in Morrisons Alness from 1.30pm raising money for the P7 trip and playground. They will return to Milton at 3.30pm. Permission slips will come home for this trip on Monday.

Friday: Final day of 2019 at school. Our end of term success assembly will start at 1.30pm. The Christmas raffle will be drawn straight afterwards. All welcome.

Business Breakfast

On Friday 13th we had the pleasure of our valued partners joining us at Milton for our first ever “Business Breakfast”.

Feis, The Men’s Shed, Health Visiting Team, Action for Children, fellow Headteachers from our ASG along with Active Schools and our Attainment Advisor were there. A number of other partners were unable to make it along but hopefully they will join us next time round.

Guests introduced themselves and had the opportunity to share stories about their involvement in our school community. We hope that this has strengthened partnerships and opened up new ideas about how we can move forward.

Our Interim Head Of Education Nicky Grant also took time out of her busy schedule to visit us. She commented positively about our school and community and made time to chat to our children, staff and partners. She said “keep being awesome”. Well done #teammilton

Milton would not be Milton without our partners! Thank you all. Survey feedback will be collated and shared with you very soon.

Special thanks to our house captains who encouraged partners to vote for their favourite wordle logo as we move towards launching our new school vision, values and aims in January.

If any parents want to cast their votes the board is situated in the Mercat Meeting room. Let us know your thoughts PLEASE.

Friday wouldn’t be Friday without our “awesome assembly”. Big well done to this weeks winners!
