Halloween Activity Night! 🎃

Some very spooky looking characters were in the hall tonight enjoying a range of Halloween activities. The children were dooking for apples, decorating lantern party bags, eating donuts, and enjoying a few other fab activities before setting off on a spooky adventure into the spider lit garden! A huge thank you to the parents for organising the event, another fantastic evening for the children thanks to our Parent Council!

Welcome to our new goldfish friends :)

A huge thank you to Nikki and her daughter who visited school today to deliver the latest Milton Primary recruits. The Pet Shop in Tain have very kindly donated 4 goldfish to us. Every class has its very own fish to name and care for. We will keep you posted on their names !

Our fishy friends visited the staffroom to meet the teachers before being set free by Stephanie (P1) to live happily ever after at Milton in their new home.

We think they looked very happy when they met the pupils, don’t you?!

Thank you and reminders…

A huge thank you to all parents/guardians who were able to attend Parent’s Night tonight. It was so lovely to see so many parents leaving with a smile.

Our Harvest Assembly is this Friday 7th October at 1.30pm. All welcome 😊. Please continue to send in any food you may be able to spare to contribute to our foodbank collection. We are really keen to beat the weight we collected last year.

The books which were available to purchase at Parent’s Night will be on sale until Friday. If you or your child wishes to purchase a book, you will be able to do so until then.

We will also leave out the lost property after the Harvest Assembly on Friday, please ensure you take anything which may belong to your child or encourage your child to look through what is left as it will be donated to the Mercat if not claimed by Friday.  There will also be an opportunity to buy a Milton cap should you wish- £3 each.

Tomorrow is our school disco from 6.30-8.00pm. £1 entry which will go toward school fund. You may wish to provide your child with some money for the Tuck Shop which the Parent Council have kindly offered to run.

We are still eagerly awaiting some flu vaccine permission slips, please could you check, and double check, at home and return these to school as soon as possible.

First league game of the season!

On Wednesday 15th September Milton FC played their first league game of the season. It was a very well played but tough game. The final score was 3-1 to Park Primary. In the first half Jayden Loughlin scored the equaliser making it 1-1 but despite some excellent goal keeper skill in the second half from Blythe Buchan Park scored a further 2 superb goals. A very well deserved win to Park . A brilliant game to watch, both teams worked hard and played well.
