Milton Primary SchoolWe didn’t only say farewell to Mrs Sinclair this week, it was also Mr Stewart’s last Assembly with us. He was presented with a lovely gift- a drawing of his church- and a card made by the children. We wish him all the very best as he begins his retirement. 
We had the pleasure of Owen piping at our School Burns Supper. He is very talented and has made such progress with his bagpipes. Well done Owen! 
A huge thank you to all of the children, staff, families and friends of Milton for your kindness and good wishes. I had a lovely last day at school and have now officially started maternity leave.
I look forward to seeing you all again very soon. Every day is a learning day as we all already know and I definitely have a lot of learning ahead of me over the next few weeks and months!

The Early Years Class took Mrs Sinclair by surprise today and presented her with the funniest card and kindest gift.
The boys and girls have all made some brilliant name suggestions and tried to guess the weight of the baby. A 20lb boy called Dick Whittington could be an interesting combination.
You know it’s time to leave when Sienna says “this is me being you today Mrs Sinclair”! One of the best things about Milton is every single day a child is guaranteed to amaze you or make you laugh or both!
Mrs Sinclair will leave tomorrow at lunchtime and Miss Munro will officially take over. Very best wishes to Miss Munro for her time at Milton!
Our fabulous cross country runners (few missing from the pic) did Milton proud on Wednesday. The team were running in Invergordon, Felix bagged another medal for his collection taking 5th place! Well done everyone, great running from you all.

We would like to announce the birth of Seren MacNeil Clark, Mrs Clark gave birth to another beautiful baby girl yesterday. She has promised to visit Milton very soon, watch this space for pictures! HUGE congratulations to the Clark family!
Just to let everyone know a fantastic £68.66 was raised for the Highland Hospice on Christmas Jumper Day. Well done Milton and thank you to all who donated.
Last week Mrs Christie asked Felix to take a photograph of the teachers in their Christmas jumpers. However her phone was quickly taken over by P6/7 who posed for some selfies with Ms Brewer!

Many thanks to those of you who were able to join us for our last Assembly of 2016. We hope you enjoyed listening to our very talented pupils throughout the morning. Special thanks to P4/5 for telling us the Christingle Story and to our ministers for reminding us about the real reason we celebrate Christmas.
Congratulations to our special Head Teacher award winners. It was lovely to hear such a range of reasons for our pupil’s successes.
