This year we will be attending the Snow White Pantomime at Eden Court. We would love to have all permission slips signed returned before the October holidays, where possible.

If you have not already signed and returned the slip, then it’d be great if you managed to do so before Friday.

If you need another form, please see Mrs Nimmons at the School Office.

A huge thank you to those of you who were able to make it along to see your child’s class teacher tonight. We hope you enjoyed hearing about their progress in school and were able to have any questions you may have had answered.

We’d also like to thank those of you who were able to contribute to our questionnaire and button vote. Your views will be very helpful in supporting us to move forward with the school improvement priorities. 

Many thanks to those of you who were able to contribute some donations to our harvest collection. We will be accepting these right up until the end of Assembly on Friday so please feel free to send some in with your child.

Don’t forget, you are very welcome to join us from 2.00pm in the assembly hall on Friday. Hope to see you all then 😊

We would like to inform you that Miss McClymont in our Nursery has handed in her notice. Her last day with us will be Friday 6th October, when she will leave to take up another position.

We hope to have the position filled in the near future. We wish her all the best in her new venture.

The scholastic book fair has arrived at Milton Primary School!

We hope to allow the children to visit the books tomorrow to see if any catch their eye. If so, we will encourage the pupils to communicate this to you and seek your permission to buy any which may be of interest to them.

You can then send the money into school with your child or alternatively, Mrs Christie will open the side gym door early on Friday morning (8.30am) to allow you to accompany your child to the book fair.

There are also some items of stationery, posters and other novelty gifts available to purchase. 

The Library Van will visit school tomorrow (Tuesday 26th September). Please ensure your child returns all borrowed books to make sure they are able to borrow some more.

The Ross-shire Primary 1 picture supplement is due to appear inside this coming week’s edition (September 29) of the Ross-shire Journal. 

Please note this is the only edition in which this supplement will appear. 

Please don’t forget we are collecting donations for the Food Bank again this term. We would welcome donations of the following items identified by Blythswood.

A donation of any kind would be very much appreciated.

Please don’t forget, a meeting for the Milton Parent Forum will take place tomorrow (Friday 22nd September 2017) in the Mercat Centre. All parents are welcome at this meeting.
