A very big thank you to Sheila Waters and everyone from the Community Woodlands who organised a fabulous experience for us on Friday 27th March. One of our favourite activities had to be the bunny hop race in sacks, we had so much fun and thoroughly enjoyed the delicious snacks too.
The boys and girls pulled out all the stops with their homework challenge this week.
Everyone designed an amazing egg, very well done to the eggspert designers who took 1st,2nd and 3rd place. The judges had a very tough task!
The Easter Raffle will be drawn tomorrow afternoon (Thursday 2nd April) Best of luck to everyone!

Whilst walking through Tarbat today we bumped into an artist called Hugh Kirkwood. He talked to us about his passion for art and we were really interested to hear about the different brushes and paints we was using.
He told us that he earns his living by painting, we were all very impressed.

Primary 5-7 were exploring their local area this morning. After a short walk to the local church they were given a guided tour and warm welcome by the minister Rev. Stewart and some of his church members. We heard lots of stories about the history of the church and we then had an opportunity to explore the church for ourselves.
P5-7 were writing poems this week after studying a selection by Michael Rosen and Roger McGough.
We were inspired to start with ‘Happy is a place’ after reading a poem from Michael Rosen’s Sad Book.
How wonderful are these poems…read them and smile 🙂
Fantastic result down in Invergordon today. Charlotte finished in 11th place and Tallulah took 5th place for the girls.
Riley came 3rd and raced over the finish line with Owen achieving 10th place.
Mums and Dads were there in force cheering on the runners, a proud day for Team Milton. Well done everyone !👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍
P5-7 had an eggcellent time at the Easter Extravaganza this afternoon. They visited the Capstone Centre in Alness and enjoyed a range of very fun and informative activities which were all about the Easter Story. The children thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon and were even treated with some afternoon snack,bookmarks and early Easter eggs! Thank you to everyone who helped to make this a memorable experience for all those involved. 🙂
The children were out in force with their litter pickers this morning in a bid to help Keep Scotland Beautiful. The boys are girls were shocked to discover just how much litter they collected in a very short space of time. A very special thank you to the fantastic parents who were able to come along and support the clean up!
