Nursery Adventures

Today as part of our physical fun topic we did a sponsor walk through Milton woods and along the river.
Some Mums, Dads and sisters joined us for our walk in the sunshine. We spotted a dinosaur egg, a big slug and enjoyed listening to the river. Some of the children told us that they go fishing in the river and have spotted a real crocodile.

All the children walked fantastically well and enjoyed their exercise. They learned that they felt hot after the big walk and could feel their hearts beating faster.

Thanks to everyone who joined in. If we could get sponsor money in by Wednesday that would be great. Thank you! From Mrs Forth and Miss McClymont 🙂

Each Friday afternoon the children have been busy working in their house groups getting up to all sorts of fun activities. We have The Explorers who found a frog last Friday, The Gardeners who lifted the home grown Milton tatties, The Crafty Crew who made some super wooden spoon folk, The Knitters who were busy finger knitting, The Gym Team who disappeared under the parachute and the Technology Experts who were out and about creating videos!

DramaWorkshops

Jonothan from Eden Court definitely helped us get into role on Wednesday during his drama sessions with classes. As part of the Blas festival we explored what it is like to live in the Highlands of Scotland. The children created all sorts of things using their bodies to create still images. Nessie and Inverness Castle were just two fantastic scenes created!  A huge thank you to our parents and friends who came along in the afternoon 👍
