We just love it when our families visit! We had lots of fun on Friday creating some festive biscuits, painting our salt dough decorations and making some lovely Christmas cards.
Thank you to everyone who made it along.
Looking forward to having the Milton Primary families joining us at school tomorrow for our activity afternoon! The children will be organised into their houses allowing all siblings to be together with their mums/dads/grannies or whoever is available to come along. The session starts at 1.30pm. See you there π
Our fabulous 7’s worked their socks off at Blythswood on Monday.
“We worked so hard to help check the shoe boxes, we had to make sure every box had a slip on the top”
“We didn’t know that every single box also received a free book or leaflet too”
“The boxes that we helped to check are going to be sent to Albania”
“Check out the Appeal page to see some of our video diary”
Today the nursery went conker hunting, we had so much fun looking for them hiding under leaves. The children took their conkers home, they can be used for lots of numeracy activities such a weighing, counting and sorting. They can also be used for crafts. We would love to hear what you use them for at home.
We all had so much fun on Friday thanks to the wonderful group of mums that organised Halloween activities for each class. We had pumpkin and ghost hunting, some very crazy green goo, dooking for apples and we even had to catch a doughnut with our hands behind our back.
Thank you to everyone who put so much into ensuring Halloween was alive at Milton!
Whilst at the log cabin the children said:
“This is the best day ever”
“Can we come next week?”
“The party food is lovely”
“I love the woods even when it’s cold”
We all dressed up for our Halloween party , don’t we look fantastic?
We all made spooky lanterns, dooked for apples, we were dancing and we had to try and catch some really wiggly worms with our teeth! The sugar went all over our faces!
We made a magic potion in the garden…. We even didn’t have frogs legs so used glitter instead. The party food was SO yummy!
The children are invited to bring in any donations for the poppy appeal from next Monday 2nd November.
One of our very enterprising and talented mums has kindly produced some beautiful crochet poppies. Β£2 each, money will be split between funds and the poppy appeal.
Visit the office if you would like one π
A chilly afternoon in the playground on Wednesday…Our very enterprising Primary 7’s have kick started their fundraising challenge…all monies raised will be going towards their trip.
